Fredericksburg TX County Road
This is one of the plein air painting I did on location While I was visiting Fredericksburg,TX for about two weeks as painting out door and taking a lot of photos for the studio painting.
What a wonderful area to visit and great location for artists.
Thank you so much for Chuck Mauldin and Barbara Mauldin for hosting The OPA "Paint-out" for area OPA members at Fredericksburg TX.
It took me 11 hours to drive to there and worth it.
Fredericksburg has so many long county roads with plenty of butterfly in the meadows and old barn houses with lots of farm animals plus many old historical sites to visit .
Most of the time, I drove more than 300 miles in the area just want to enjoy the Texas Hill country scenery and stay away from the popular downtown business area.
I am planning to visit again in the Spring to see the TX Blue Bonnet.

Blowing Grass Field
Living in Amarillo TX with wind blowing at speed of 50+ MPH is not unusual to us.
Few weeks ago when I was playing at local golf course and this painting was the scene from the beginning to the end of play.
Can you imaging how to stand still to make the drive and do not know where golf ball is going and how to control the golf ball not to move when making the put.
Raquette Lake
This painting was done by using a Christmas card that our friends Rodney and Lois send to us two years ago.
This photo was snapped by Rodney at Raquette Lake in the Adirondacks, New York State.
It was in the September as the landscape starting to change it's color from summery green to colorful Autumn color.
